Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and Revvet for using the Revvet app and website. By signing in you accept them. If you use Revvet for a company, you confirm you may accept them for it.
What Revvet is
Revvet is a directory and matching tool for contractors and subcontractors. It holds the records its users enter or import, shows a standing and notes for each subcontractor, ties each one to who referred them, and suggests matches for described work. It is a tool for your judgement, not a substitute for it.
Your account
- You sign in with Google or Apple. Keep that account secure; what happens under it is yours.
- Access to a network is granted by its owner. Revvet may refuse or end access to anyone who breaks these terms.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Your content
- Records, notes and ratings you add stay yours. You give Revvet the right to store, display and process them to run the service.
- You are responsible for what you write. Notes must be honest accounts of your own dealings. Do not post anything defamatory, private information about a person's health, family, finances or immigration status, or anything you do not have the right to share.
- Contacts you import from your phone must be ones you are entitled to hold and use for business.
Standing, ratings and matches
Standing labels, ratings, briefs and matches are opinions and suggestions built from the records in the network. They are not guarantees of quality, licensing, insurance or availability. Verify licences, insurance and references yourself before hiring. Revvet is not a party to any contract between a contractor and a subcontractor.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, resell or export the directory for use outside your business.
- Do not attempt to access another network's records or another person's account.
- Do not use Revvet to harass, discriminate against, or defame anyone.
Availability and changes
Revvet is provided as is. We work to keep it available and accurate but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features with notice in the app.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Revvet is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses arising from hiring decisions made with its help. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, and disputes are heard in its courts.
