Privacy Policy
Revvet is a private network that connects contractors with the subcontractors they work with, each subcontractor tied to the person or company that referred them. This policy says what Revvet collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
- Your account. The name and email address your sign-in provider (Google or Apple) shares with us, the provider you used, and when you signed in. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive Apple's relay address.
- Directory records you add. Subcontractor companies and their contacts: names, roles, phone numbers, email addresses, trades, ratings, standing, notes, jobs and referral source. These are business records you enter or import; they describe subcontractors, not you.
- Contacts you choose to import. When you tap Import from phone, the app reads the contacts you pick, only after you allow it, and only those you select. We keep the ones you save into the directory and discard the rest.
- Optional connections. If you connect a Google account, Revvet reads (never writes) the spreadsheet, contact export and message archive you authorise, to fill in the directory. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.
- Device notifications. If you turn on notifications, we keep a device token so we can send them. Turning them off removes it.
- Usage. Which records you open, call or text from within the app, so the app can show what you used recently. We do not use analytics trackers or advertising identifiers.
How we use it
- To run the directory: search, standing, referral, notes, job history.
- To match a described scope of work to subcontractors. The description you type and a compact list of directory records are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for that one answer and are not used to train models.
- To write relationship briefs from your own connected message archive, when you have connected one. Briefs are suggestions; nothing changes until you apply it.
- To send notifications you asked for.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- We do not read your device contacts, messages or files unless you choose to import or connect them.
Who we share it with
Service providers that host and run Revvet: Google Cloud (hosting and storage, United States), Anthropic (the matcher and briefs), Apple and Google (sign-in and notifications). Each receives only what its job needs. We share records with no one else, except as the law requires.
Your choices
- Delete your account. Settings → Delete my account removes your account record, your recent activity, saved layout, device tokens and any Google connection you made, and signs you out. You can also request it at revvet's account deletion page or by emailing the address below. Directory records about subcontractors are business records of the network and are not deleted with a personal account.
- Disconnect Google at any time from Settings; the stored grant is deleted immediately.
- Turn off notifications in Settings or in your phone's settings.
- Correct a record. Every profile has Report a data error.
Retention and security
Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted when you delete it. Records are stored encrypted at rest on Google Cloud in the United States and reached only over HTTPS. Access is by signed-in account; there are no shared passwords.
Children
Revvet is a business tool for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date above changes and the app shows a notice on sign-in.
